                       VALIDATING YOUR EMOTIONS

A balanced lifestyle affects your studies to a great extent. We have all seen movies of some genius who studied hard and didn't care about anything but studies. Now unless you're a genius completely content with that sort of a life a balanced lifestyle is not something you absolutely require.

I for myself am an over-average student. I have learnt ways that help me study and be at my utmost productivity. 

The first thing is peace and balance of life as a whole. 

At the age of studying, we tend to feel a lot of emotions and we cannot help it. For example, you're studying and you find out by a social media notification that your friends are hanging out without you. You will feel intense anger or sadness. But, rewind a few minutes before, you were studying. Now you need to question yourself, were the studies important or were my friends who ignored me, more important? As you realise that studies are more important, 30 minutes have already passed of you just thinking about something useless. There's no need to feel guilty now, what you can do now is keep your emotions in check. 

Keep a record of the emotions you felt today or use an app for tracking them, there are many. 

If you're feeling anger, shake your body and act as if you're dusting it away. This will help you in just 2 minutes. 

If you're tired and down, try writing down the best you've ever felt. In a matter of five minutes, you'll feel good.

If unmotivated, try messaging yourself, but as you from five years later. Tell yourself what you wish to be doing, your plans, who you're with and what you're feeling at that moment. 

If you're anxious or overstimulated use a colour-filling app, those help so much.

There are many exercises like this that you can find online to help you sort out your emotions.

Our emotions are important and should not be neglected by anyone including you. 

Emotions should be dealt with with care and love. 

We know what stands more important in front of us. There is a need to not waste much time on emotions while not invalidating them. 

Peace of mind stands close to you in success.
